Soon Y. Warren Workshop - Day 2

Day 2 is over!   There were more layers and more layers...

And then, the beginnings of detail... and more layers...

This is where we will start tomorrow... and get to the finish.  I am exhausted and this Internet connection is h.o.r.r.i.b.l.e!!  So, I am about to pile in bed and soothe myself with...

...  a few rows of knitting before I crash.  I am on row 73 of this Mystery Knit-A-Long and need to be finished with row 150 (gets longer each row) by Monday... not sure I'll make this deadline.  Anyway, I hope everyone is having a great weekend and I'll be catching up soon.

I think you are painting fish or sea turtle --but it's beautiful. And you are also doing the mystery knit! After all this creativity you will be ready to crash on Monday!

Your artwork is fabulous. I wouldn't know where to begin. You are so good.

The water and fish capture the essence of the subject, and is that beads I see in your knitting?

Glad you have the knitting to unwind and relax after this. But you are doing something new and different, out of the box thinking, it is looking GREAT!!! Did everyone make this one, or is it yours?

I think it's wonderful that you're learning to do something new. It can be scary trying something different, but you grow so much from it. I think your watercolor is turning out so nice. You're such a creative person.

I can't even imagine drawing the fish...let alone painting them so beautifully!

I love all the beads lined up ready to be knitted. I want to make a beaded shawl in my future but I have to finish my current projects first.

Well, Mrs. Multi-Talent, I can't wait to see the next layer(s). It's already beautiful. You clearly have the artist's eye for color. I've seen it repeatedly in your knitting and here too.

You will never be bored. You are doing really well for someone who has not worked with water colors before Kudos. Have a great day. Blessings...Mary

I can't wait to see the finished products!

This inspires me to set aside some time to make 'joy'; that's what I used to call it when I would have time to craft and create.

Is there ever a minute in a day that your not busy creating beautiful things ?!

I'd bet you would love my little town. Filled to the brim with all kinds of artists!

Check out Spring City Utah one of these days. Full of great old houses too :)
