Day is Done...

It was a longish day...

Had me hunting a niche in our little corner of the world...

A place to hide away and to share some quiet time with the Fish Boys...

Velvet, our little assassin cat...

And, my dear hubby...

Surrounded by beautiful flowers...

Birds singing...

And, a soft breeze blowing...

The sweet scent of jasmine floating from across the fence...

A good way to end the day...

What a beautiful spot to sit and just relax and watch the fish. Your photos look like I could just lean in and smell the flowers. Just gorgeous.

Alex took one look at those fish and said he wasn't too sure about jumping in that pond! Ha! Looks fantastic with all the work you've had done to it. =) XOXO

I wouldn't mind ending my day in that exact spot! You have made a beautiful and inviting area to rest in and enjoy. I'd love to have a pond, but wonder if there is a lot of upkeep. Especially up here in the polar midwest in the winter. Gorgeous!

Your pond is spectacular! Your cat does what mine do, lurk on the edges of the pond! Sounds like you had a perfect evening, the smells are just wonderful this time of year.

Your fish pond is amazing.
Did you put it along a side yard?

Oh it is just beautiful. There is nothing like the sound of water for relaxation (to me)
We just put a small water feature by the swimming pool and hubby wanted to add fish but I don't think I can add one more thing to my list of outdoor maintenance!!!!
He had 2 antique pumps that he used for the water to flow through and he has one with so much pressure it sounds like the bathtub being filled at full force..lol.. (overkill) He turned it down some but he is so funny, more is better in his life! I wanted a trickle not a gusher/ha

Yours is perfect.

Oh Tanna..absolutely gorgeous! EVERYTHING! From the fresh pops of beautiful color - to your wonderful pond. I'm sitting here trying to take it all in. Good Gracious Alive..now I'll for sure be adding "a water feature" to my honey's to-do-list. How tranquil and serene it must be resting beside something so lovely! Um um. Yes Indeed..Life is lookin' awfully Sweet in your part of the country!

Blessings, Love & Tuesday Sunshine, Terri

That is a beautiful water garden - does that go along the whole side of the house? Fish and flowers - gorgeous. It is a great way to end the day. Nice. Breathe . . .

Every time you show a new part of your home it is inspiring. What a gorgeous fish pond and I'm guessing you two built it yourselves? I am envious. Always wanted one and we did have several tiny ponds in our home in Richmond, Va. They were glorious. No fish tho'. Too cold in Winter. No pond up here altho' we could build one at Grandma's but she has a stream running through her property so it doesn't make any sense.

Your husband looks as though he might want you to put that camera down :)

what a nice place to relax...we usually end our evening sitting out on the patio watching our dogs run, chase and play...a nice end to the day...definately not peaceful...but nice...
